A three day portrait workshop. In this workshop, students will work from a photo (a selection will be provided by instructor or you can bring your own) to create a unique work of art. The photo must be a portrait and must be black and white. This workshop will guide students on how to get the drawing ‘right’ and then to work over top with your own personal color choices to create a creative portrait that also maintains a good ‘likeness’.
The end result will be in full color. The instructor will work in oils; yet students may work in oils, acrylic, pastel or other materials also being welcomed. Each morning the instructor will demonstrate in order to lead the students with what they will work on that day.
This workshop will be both fun and instructive.
