Gateway Academy of Classical Art

This five day workshop will make the connection from drawing to painting, with the human figure as our muse. Starting with drawing the first two days, students will learn the basics of abstract angles and its relationship to structure and anatomy and then building on this with values to create volume and form. We will then use this same strategy with oil paint during the final three days, ending in a longer pose incorporating color and finishing methods.
